rnrntrnttrntttDEPARTMENT:rntttHealth & Human Services DepartmentrnttrnttrntttDESCRIPTION:rnttrnttrntttrntttThe Lincoln Regional Center is looking for a full-time Secretary II to open and maintain patient records in the program Health Information Management (HIM) office.rntttrntttWork Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pmrntttrnttrnttrntttEXAMPLES OF WORK:rnttrnttrntttrntttGather required medical record information, secure signatures, and complete updates in the medical record on a daily basis. Scanning of medical records into the electronic medical record system using detailed instructions. Close medical record in compliance with established LRC and regulatory standards and forward to the central HIM office by the 15th day after discharge. Audit ward charts on a monthly basis, record deficiencies, and follow up with staff to correct deficiencies as needed. Send information to referral agencies and specified aftercare providers within required time frames. Data entry into various computer programs for a variety of documents. Receptionist duties to include greeting and assisting staff and visitors. Provide secretarial support to the program, including recording and transcribing meeting minutes, typing and proofreading documents for the program staff, picking up program mail from central mail room and distribute, and order office supplies to meet program needs.rntttrnttrnttrntttQUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:rnttrnttrntttREQUIREMENTS: Experience in performing office/clerical or secretarial support functions, using personal computers and associated office software, such as word processing and spreadsheets.rnttt rntttPREFERRED: Experience with medical records and electronic medical record system(s).
