The mission of the Directorate of Cadet Activities (DCA) is to significantly enhance the development of the United States Corps of Cadets militarily, physically, academically, moral-ethically, spiritually, and socially by providing organized, comprehensive and diverse programs and facilities, which provide for entertainment, extracurricular, recreational, cultural and social activities.
Located in the scenic Hudson River valley, only 50 miles from New York City, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point is a four-year academic institution, a nationally-renowned historic site, and the oldest continuously occupied military post in America. West Point's 3,000 civilian employees have access to Eisenhower Hall Theater, the Hudson Valley's premier performing arts center, and recreational facilities such as an 18-hole Golf Course and Ski Slope.

Conditions of Employment:

3. Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
4. The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute(ANSI) accredited agency is required (i.e., ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Program).
Education, experience or a combination of both which includes planning and managing all phases of a hotel, club or restaurant food program.
This experience and/or education must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position.
1 year of experience working as a chef is highly preferred.

Salary depends on actual hours worked. Hourly rate for leave and pay will be $14.48 to $15.00 per hour.
