The IMCOM G-9 mission is to create and maintain FIRST CHOICE MWR products and services for America's Army, essential to a ready, self-reliant force.

There are multiple positions located within the Business Operations Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

There will be weekly cut-off dates for this vacancy announcement beginning on Friday, April 20th at 3:00PM and every Friday thereafter until the closure of this announcement. Applicants that apply after the cut-off date(s) will not be referred 1) until after the next cut-off date 2) the closing date of the vacancy announcement or 3) if a selection is made from the candidate pool of a previous cutoff - whichever comes first.

The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is within the commuting area of Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. NOTE: Local commuting area is defined as a radius of 50 miles; in addition to, you are considered eligible if one of the following applies: you live outside of this radius and are able to commute to work on a daily/as needed basis or you are able to relocate yourself on your own expenses (must be able to be present for work within 2 weeks of selection), you are a military spouse in the process of relocating to this installation and are within 30 days of moving, or you are an involuntarily separated military member.

Responsibilities

Sets up bars for operation, obtains cash bank and stocks service bar. Assures an adequate stock level is maintained, sets up storeroom and work area to permit easy access to stock items. Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff. Records sales and makes change or prepares charge slips. Keeps bar and work area clean and sanitary. Identifies persons who become unruly or who appear intoxicated, resolves the problem or seeks assistance in accordance with established procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Knowledge: Skill in mixing drinks using alcoholic beverages, beer and soda. Applies simple arithmetic in calculating bills and making change. Ability to recognize intoxicated and unruly patrons.

Responsibility: Receives specific instructions for new or unusual assignments. Routine work is performed without close supervision.

Physical Effort: Regularly lifts and carries items weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds. Stands for prolonged periods.

Working Conditions: Work is primarily indoors. Exposed to cuts and bruises.
