A person in a contract specialist job reviews contract documents and contractual correspondence including subcontracts and identifies risk and opportunity areas as work proceeds. Regular duties in a contract specialist job include monitoring commercial issues and drafting correspondence and notices, as also promoting the maintenance of records for use in substantiating future claims.
A person in a contract specialist job contributes to company success and creates shareholder value by establishing and managing contract and supply arrangements for key equipment, supplies, and services.
